By Train
If you plan to travel by train, check the German Railroad connections at
http://bahn.hafas.de/bin/query.exe/en
Please choose "Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum" as destination.
After arriving at the Bochum central station, take subway U35 (direction "Hustadt/Querenburg"). A timetable can be found under VRR Journey Planner
Get off the subway at "Ruhr-Universität"; turn right after climbing the stairs and follow the signs to "Naturwissenschaften". You will find the physics department in building NB; the Institute for Experimental Hadron Physics is located on level 2 (caution: not 02!).
